Midlands Autumn Series Dates Confirmed

Following on from a high successful Spring Series, won by Ian Cartwright, the Midlands Autumn Series will kick off on Sunday 22nd August at Suckley in Worcestershire.

Eight rounds have been confirmed and competitors will be able to count their best five results towards the overall league.

The confirmed rounds are:

• Sun 22 Aug - Suckley, Worcestershire (3 Hours)
• Sun 5 Sep - Southwell, Notts (3 Hours)
• Sun 19 Sep - Lower Brailes, Warwickshire (3 Hours)
• Sun 10 Oct - Chieveley, Berkshire (3.5 Hours)
• Sun 24 Oct - Congerstone, Leics (3 Hours)
• Sun 7 Nov - Cannock Chase, Staffs (3 Hours)
• Sun 21 Nov - Willersey, Gloucestershire (3 Hours)
• Sun 5 Dec - Far Forest, Worcs (3 Hours)

The opening round at Suckley will set the tone for series, with an event area of just 12km x 8km and a 1:25000 map. Being successful here will require ultra-accurate navigation in some dense woodland, and the event will feature some tracks that are not public rights of way.
