EVENT CLASSES
To give everyone a chance of doing well, riders compete in event classes according to their age (or combined age for teams) and gender.
The classes Midland Trailquests use are as follows:

If you are competing as a team you will be entered in the correct class according to the combined age of both riders added together.
For events that are part of a league, your age will be taken as your age on the data of the first event in that league. This is to ensure you ride in the same class throughout the whole league.
If you are riding a standalone event that is not part of any league, your class will be determined by your age(s) on the day of the event.
Riders under 12 may not ride our events and riders between 12 & 16 must be part of a Generation Team (partnered by a rider of 18+).
