Midland Trailquests are affiliated to the CTC who provide insurance for the organisers of our events. This insurance does not cover riders who compete in our events.

Although third party claims against cyclists are quite rare we still recommend that riders competing in our events should arrange suitable third party cover and offer our members a special CTC membership package which includes third party cover when riding both in our events and cycling generally.

As well as insurance cover the package also includes:

• CTC membership card giving a wide range of discounts and benefits.
• Subscription to the CTC E-Zine 'Newsnet'.
• Support for the organisation that does the most to fight for our rights as cyclists.

The membership year runs from 1st October - 30th September each year and costs £12.00 per member per annum (reduced to £8.00 after 1st April each year). This membership package is available only to MTQ members and is not available directly from the CTC.
