These are the first MTB events run by a long standing (since 1995) Mountain Bike Orienteering advocate. Expect a challenging but rewarding course using the extensive bridleway and byway network in the area. The map will be a laminated A4 1:50000 and will have all checkpoints located off-road. Large maps of the course area will be available for inspection prior to the start but checkpoint locations will only be available at the start line where you will be given a fully marked map (checkpoint locations and values). Chieveley Village Hall is a large event centre, easily accessible from the M4 and A34, with plenty of off-road parking. We will be providing free tea & coffee, plus reasonably priced cakes & soft drinks. Prize giving will occur at 14:15.
