Organiser's Notes

35 Controls over a 15 x 10 km competition area using mainly Bridleways, Byways and Lanes. These cover the whole range, from flat, smooth and fast to steep, rough and slow. Most of the controls will be sited off-road and to help route planning there will be a 1:25000 map at the start.

Start / Finish at the Southwell Rugby Club, which is best accessed from the junction of Park Lane and the A612. There will be signage out on the day indicating the turn in.

The Clubhouse has the usual basic amenities - toilets etc, but there won’t be the option of showers on the day as it’s all a bit open……

However, the kitchens will be in operation, so there will be tea/coffee/squash together with cakes, biscuits and (hopefully) rolls – which are all free but we would appreciate a donation if you have any loose change knocking about.

There will be an Endurance GB (long distance horse riding) event on the same day, so please slow down if you encounter any of their riders.

All proceeds to Southwell Care Project ( www.southwellcare.org ), a local charity for Adults with Learning Disabilities.

Any questions please email.

As well as the notes here please ensure you have read and fully understand our event procedure notes and competition rules before entering this or any other event.
